Jane, Theo Wenner, 2020
In the publication, Theo Wenner documents his mother, Jane Wenner, one of the founders of Rolling Stone magazine and founder of Wenner Media, over the course of a few years at her home in the Hamptons. The expansive residence, designed by modernist architect Ward Bennett, with its large staff of workers, is the backdrop for a narrative about his mother who suffers from depression but continues to be very close to Wenner and his family.

Inked, 3D-printed letterpress plate

Working through hundreds of images over multiple years, the images are reduced, edited and sequenced into four sections of the book represented by four seasons: winter, spring, summer and fall.
In reference to the history of Rolling Stone magazine, the cover, and multiple sections of the book including photographs of hand written letters, essays, and a visual index are printed with letterpress with full color, half-toned images.
Text is typeset in Helvetica BQ.
