SO–IL’s second book, In Depth, focuses on their approaches to housing and is illustrated with photographs by Iwan Baan and Naho Kubota.

In Depth, interior spreads with metallic silver spot color

In continuation of ideas developed for their first book, Solid Objectives, In Depth uses textures and spot colors in the offset and silkscreen printing process to highlight material choices in photographs of residential projects.

In the photographs, silkscreened braille varnish is used to reproduce glass surfaces, metallic silver for metal railings, frames, netting, and curtains, and various fluorescent and bold colors capture objects in domestic spaces.

The book is typeset in two sizes of Univers Book and printed by in the Netherlands by Wilco Art Books.
