Arts for Living documents the Abrons Arts Center, a performing & visual arts venue designed by Lo-Yi Chan on the Lower East Side, New York City.Located across the street from common room’s new york location in the Seward Park Cooperative offices, the book was first prompted by the potential demolition of the Center.

The square format book references the square site plan of the Center, and the book is printed mostly in red and black ink. Photographer Jason Fulford images documenting the Center are printed in full color. As with most common room books, the front cover is an image with no text, and the table of contents can be found on the back cover.
All text is typeset in Times New Roman Bold.
